The Allahabad High Court on Monday ordered for CBI inquiry against the role of Basic Shiksha Adhikari of Mainpuri district and a Ghaziabad based NGO working for mid day meal scheme in Uttar Pradesh. The bench comprises Justice Sunil Ambawani and Justice K.N.Pandey passed this order while hearing a writ petition filed by the same NGO. The district administration had detected irregularities of about twenty crore rupees related to providing food under centrally sponsored Mid day meal scheme in Mainpuri district.
