India's Sania Mirza and her American partner Bethanie Mattek-Sands have advanced to the second round of the prestigious Miami Open Tennis tournament. In the women's doubles category, the seventh seeded duo defeated Eva Birnerova and Varvara Lepchenko 7-5 6-3. They will now fight it out with Jarmila Gajdosova and Sabine Katharina Lisicki in the next round.In men's doubles, Rohan Bopanna and his American partner Rajeev Ram also advanced to the second round. The Indo-American pair beat Eric Butorac and Paul Hanley 7-6, 6-4.
