Miami Open: Paes-Stepanek storm into finals of Men's Doubles

India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek have stormed into the finals of the Men's Doubles category in the Miami Open Tennis tournament at Florida. In the semifinals played this morning, the seventh seeded Indo-Czech duo defeated America's top seeded Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Meanwhile, in the other semifinal, the Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna failed to make it to the final two, as it was defeated by the Belarusian-Canadian combine of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor, 6-2, 6-4. The final match between the Indo-Czech pair of Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek and the Belarusian-Canadian tandem of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor will be played tomorrow. In the Women's Singles, Maria Sharapova of Russia and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland have made it to the final round.In the semifinals, while Sharapova defeated Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, Radwanska beat Marion Bartoli of France, 6-4, 6-2. In the Men's Singles, both the semifinal matches will be played today.Serbia's World Number One Novak Djokovic will take on Juan Monaco of Argentina, while second seeded Spaniard Rafael Nadal will play Briton Andy Murray.
