Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said, the Home Ministry's guidelines for Lockdown 5.0 will facilitate the gradual and calibrated reopening of aviation sector. <br />''<br />''In a &nbsp;series of tweets, he said, as the country moves towards critical mass of 50 to 60 per cent operation of domestic flights, its ability to resume international operations will also improve.&nbsp; He said, despite COVID-19 and the lockdown, our efforts to serve the nation did not cease but just took a different form.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Puri said, the Vande Bharat Mission has already evacuated more than 50 thousand stranded and distressed Indian citizens and the government is now preparing to significantly increase these flights. The Minister also said, several reform measures have been taken under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan for the aviation sector such as opening airspaces for airlines and &nbsp;opening other airports for private sector participation. He added that his Ministry will continue to proactively engage and &nbsp;support the &nbsp;aviation sector.&nbsp;<br />
