In view of the security restrictions in the area, entry into and exit from the Rajiv Chowk and Barakhamba Road Metro stations will be closed from 8 P.M. on New Year's Eve on Saturday. A release issued by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, DMRC, said the sale of tickets at the above two metro stations will stop at 7.45 pm.However, interchange facility between Huda city Centre-Jahangirpuri and Dwaraka Sector-21 – Noida city Centre/Anand Vihar will remain operational at Rajiv Chowk metro station till 11 PM. It said all the trains operating on Dwaraka, Sector-21-Noida City Centre/Anand Vihar will not stop at Barakhamba Road Metro station after 8 PM. Otherwise the services on this corridor will remain normal.The passengers at all other stations are requested to contact the station staff before purchasing tokens for Rajiv Chowk and Barakhamba Road Metro stations. They can also contact DMRC's helpline at 011-155370.
