The Southwest monsoon has further advanced into Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal's coastal states. Met officials said, Favorable monsoon conditions are developing into Odisha, Telangana, remaining parts of Tripura and Assam and Meghalaya and some parts of West Bengal and Sikkim during next 24 or 48 hours. <br/><br/>The MeT department has warned of heavy rains and gusty surface winds in several parts of Odisha today. The weatherman has predicted extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya and heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Karnataka and Gangetic West Bengal.<br/><br/>Isolated places over Kerala, Interior Karnataka, Telengana, Marathawada, Madhya Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Vidharbha is expected to experience heavy rainfall.
