In&nbsp;Tamil Nadu the Met department has predicted heavy rain under the influence of cyclonic circulation for the next five days over&nbsp; many places in the Southern districts of the State.<br />''<br />''Rains continue to lash the southern districts and reservoirs are filling upto the brim. As a result, acres of lands have been inundated and crops which are ready to be harvested have suffered heavy damage.<br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports,&nbsp;Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has asked the District Collectors of the Southern districts to assess the damages caused due to heavy rains. He has also asked the ministers to visit the rain hit areas and meet with the farmers.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister has asked the authorities to estimate the damages and help out the farmers on a war time basis. He has urged the officials to take relevant surveys for the benefit of the farmers.</span><br />
