In Kerala, widespread rain is continuing in various districts of the State. The yellow alert is issued in seven districts today. The Meteorological Department forecasts isolated heavy rains in the State. Hilly regions are also on alert.  Fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea on the Lakshadweep coast.
