The Met Department has predicted rain in North India during the next two to three days. It said some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi would experience rainfall.<br/><br/>An avalanche warning has also been issued for high reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, asking people not to venture in these areas over the next 36 hours.<br/><br/>Defence Research and Development Organization said that higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have witnessed fresh snowfall and rain during the past 24 hours.
