Government has said mentioning of Aadhaar number while lodging grievances on governance-related matters through an online platform is voluntary. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister of State for Personnel, Dr. Jitendra Singh said voluntary mentioning of Aadhaar number has been introduced along with other relevant information for lodging of public grievances on Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System.<br/><br/>People can visit public grievance website-www.Pgportal.nic.in to file their complaints. The grievances can be filed against any government organisation through this portal. Around nine lakh public grievances were received last year as against nearly three lakh in 2014.
