In Pune, a mentally unstable driver took control of a state transport bus and went on a rampage, killing nine people brutally.

At least 25 persons have been injured and many vehicles were damaged.

The incident happened today morning at Swargate S.T. depot in the city. Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation’s driver Santosh Mane suddenly got onto the driver's seat of a Pune to Satara bus and drove speedily on the wrong side of the road, hitting everyone coming in the way.

The police with the help of citizens and fire brigade personnel, finally nabbed him after almost one hour. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals in the city and further investigations are on.
