In Men's Cricket, the opening T20 International of the three-match series between India and South Africa was abandoned due to rain in Durban. The two captains could not come out for the toss as well. The conditions did not improve as the downpour continued to lash the ground.
The match referee along with the on-field umpires decided to call off the game without a ball being bowled. The second T20 International of the three-match series will be played tomorrow in Gqeberha. The series will conclude on Thursday at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
Suryakumar Yadav is leading the Men in Blue while Aiden Markram is leading the South African squad.
