Members of Producers Guild today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi over the protest against upcoming release of filmmaker Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hain Muskhil". The meeting came as MNS activists protested in Maharashtra, saying it will not allow the film to be screened in single theatres and multiplexes.<br/><br/>Talking to media after the meeting, film producer Mukesh Bhatt said, the Home Minister assured full support over release of the film. He said, Mr Singh said, he will speak to Chief Ministers of every State, including Maharashtra and that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will release without any violence or issue.<br/><br/>Union Minister Babul Supriyo, who was part of the delegation, said, MNS should not have the right to threaten or harass anyone. Mr Supriyo alleged that MNS has always been a party of goons. The MNS and some other political parties have opposed release of films with actors from Pakistan after the Uri terror attack.<br/><br/>Meanwhile a dozen workers of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, MNS, were arrested yesterday for protesting against the upcoming release of filmmaker Karan Johars "Ae Dil Hain Muskhil". The party workers protested and raised slogans yesterday outside Metro Cinema in South Mumbai.
