However, members of Panchayati Raj and ADC are helping local MLA, District Administration, Ration agents on distribution of essential commodities to the villagers. <br />''<br />''In some part of the State, members of Panchayati Raj approach State machinery for protective healthcare items, spraying of local areas with Hypo Chloride and these help further reach out to village level as well. P. Bimola said members of Panchayati Raj and Jilla Parishad  are working closely with people in grassroot level and know the hardships faced by villagers due to curfew and lockdown. Therefore, pradhans, members and Parishad members from different places are trying to help villagers by providing whatever basic requirements they need by managing with one or the other means. Yet, the government has not given any additional fund or assigned any specific works to Gram Panchayat and Jilla Parishad in relation to COVID-19 in the State.
