Dr. Heikham Borajao Singh, member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly passed away early this morning at the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences(JNIMS) Hospital in Imphal. Family sources said, he was hospitalized at the JNIMS last midnight due to illness and breathed his last there at around 5:30 hours this morning. He was elected to the 9th state legislative assembly elections on CPI ticket from Sekmai Assembly Constituency. He was 67 and was survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.
