The Lok Sabha Speaker, Mrs. Meira Kumar today convened a meeting of the all political parties in New Delhi to finalise the agenda of the House for the Budget session beginning on Monday. The meeting was attended by prominent leaders of all parties. They include leader of the House Mr. Pranab Mukherjee and Leader of the Opposition Mrs. Sushma Swaraj. <br/><br/>Ahead of this meeting, the Congress Core Committee finalised its strategy for the session at a meeting of senior party leaders last evening. <br/><br/>Parliament session begins with an address by the President, Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil to a joint sitting of both Houses. While the rail budget will be presented on the 24th, the General budget for the next fiscal would be presented on the 26th.
