In Madhya Pradesh, Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar will inaugurate the 74th conference of presiding officer’s of legislative bodies of the country in Bhopal on Wednesday. The conference will discuss topics like role of Speaker in the administration, creation of smaller states and self assessment by legislature. Mrs. Meera Kumar will also inaugurate two exhibitions.<br/><br/>The five day conference of presiding officer’s and secretaries of legislative bodies began today with the secretaries meet. The meet discussed topics like financial autonomies of secretariats, declining participation and presence of members. <br/><br/>A symposium on urgency in addressing the needs of environment and conservation of wildlife will be held on 5th February.
