Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said, election of post of President and Vice-President represents a clash of ideas and conflict of disparate values. She said this while addressing a meeting of opposition leaders and her party MPs in Parliament today. <br/><br/>She said, the numbers may be against the opposition but the battle must be fought hard so that India is not held hostage to those who wish to impose a narrow-minded, divisive and communal vision. Mrs Gandhi said, Meira Kumar and Gopalkrishna Gandhi will give us the best possible President and Vice-President to steer our society through the crisis that has beset our country today.
