Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has distributed the portfolios to her Council of Ministers that includes 16 Cabinet ministers and six minsters of State. BJP has got 9 berths in the Cabinet including two ministers of State. BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh has been given the portfolio of Power Development, Housing and Urban Development. Two women have also found berth in the Mehbooba cabinet.<br/><br/>Other BJP leaders who were inducted as minister include, Chander Parkash Ganga ,Bali Bhagat , Lal Singh , Chering Dorjay, Sham Lal Choudhary and Abdul Gani Kohli , Sunil Kumar Sharma and Ajay Nanda. Sajjad Gani Lone of Peoples Conference got Social Welfare, ARI and Training from the BJP quota.<br/>The four new faces in the newly formed government were two each from PDP and BJP. Uncle of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is among four fresh faces in the new PDP-BJP government.<br/><br/> PDP leader Abdul Rehman Veeri was given the Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs portfolio.<br/>Other PDP leaders, Ghulam Nabi Lone got Agriculture Production, Abdul Haq Khan Rural Development and Panchayati Raj and Law and Justice, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation.
