<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya reported one COVID-19 related death from East Khasi Hills district today bringing the death toll to 125.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Directorate of Health Services informed that 98 new COVID-19 cases were also registered from the following districts; East Khasi Hills- 61, West Jaintia Hills- 25, Ri Bhoi- 06, East Garo Hills- 02, West Garo Hills- 02, North Garo Hills- 01 and South Garo Hills- 01.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State also recorded 50 recoveries taking the total number of recovered cases to 11,977. Till date, 2,65,057 samples have been tested and 2,52,314 have tested negative.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the State stands at 12,743 out of which 11,977 are recovered, 641 are active and 125 deaths. Fatality rate stands at 0.98 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">There are 31 containment zones across the State.</span><br />''
