Meghalaya: Two BSF personnel tested positive for COVID 19

<span style="color: #222222;">In Meghalaya, two BSF personnel tested positive for COVID 19 today taking the total number of active cases to seven in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Health Minister AL Hek informed media today that the total cases so far detected in the State are 50 with 42 recovered. One person has died due to Covid 19.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister informed that the BSF personnel are posted in the State and had returned to Meghalaya after leave.<br />'' <br />'' He said that contact tracing has started and the State Surveillance Teams are on the job.<br />'' <br />'' In view of the spike in cases in Assam, Meghalaya Government has decided to close down shops in areas bordering Guwahati starting tomorrow until July 15.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma had tweeted that, locations in Meghalaya bordering Guwahati, which are Byrnihat, Jorabat till Khanapara will be under lockdown due to surge of COVID 19 cases in cases in bordering Assam.<br />'' <br />''Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said that the inter-state movement is still not allowed till July 15.</span>
