Night curfew will also be lifted from Friday and schools located in Shillong will re-open from Monday for classes 1 to 5.<br />''<br />''There will be no permissions required for funerals, however, COVID protocols still need to be followed. Large gatherings, weddings, and public meetings will be allowed provided permissions are granted by the respective Deputy Commissioners of the district. Bars, restaurants, and movie theatres will be allowed to function for those who are double vaccinated. The odd-even number for private vehicles will remain the same as per today's decision.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the State reported 125 new COVID 19 cases including two deaths. The State also registered 233 recoveries bringing the total recovered cases to 89994. The number of active cases in the State stands at 1098 while 1554 people have died due to the pandemic so far. </span><br />
