<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya reported 541 new COVID 19 cases including 409 recoveries in the last 24 hours bringing the total recovered cases to 56,510. According to Directorate of Health Services, the State also recorded eight COVID 19 related deaths.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Out of eight deaths, four were reported from East Khasi Hills district, two from Ri Bhoi district and one each from West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills districts. The COVID death toll has reached 1048 in the state. The number of active cases in the State stands at 5,456 and 10,32,533 people have so far been vaccinated.</span><br />
