<span style="color: black;">Meghalaya reported 354 fresh new COVID 19 cases along with 352 recoveries in the last 24 hours bringing the total recovered cases to 70,479. The State also witnessed seven deaths due to COVID 19, according to a statement from the Directorate of Health Services. The fatalities reported are; two each from East Khasi Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills district and one from South West Khasi Hills district. The total number of deaths dues to COVID 19 cases in the State has reached 1,292 while the active cases stand at 2,815. So far the total number of people vaccinated have reached 12,98,028 out of which 10,07,457 have received the first dose and 2,90,571 have received both doses.</span>
