Meghalaya reported 244 fresh new COVID 19 cases including 418 recoveries in the last 24 hours tallying the total recovered cases to 67,999. Directorate of Health Services informed that 12 deaths were also registered; eight from East Khasi Hills district and one each from South Garo Hills, West Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills districts.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">The total number of fatalities due to COVID 19 in the State has reached 1,252 and the number of active cases stands at 3,405.
