<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya reported 129 fresh new COVID-19 cases and 199 recoveries during the last 24 hours bringing the total recovered cases to 78,267. Directorate of Health Services informed that four deaths were also reported out of which three of them were not vaccinated. The deaths reported are, two from East Khasi Hills district and one each from East Garo Hills district and West Jaintia Hills district. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the state has reached 1,404 and the number of active cases stands at 1,619. The number of vaccinated people has reached 15,35,666 out of which 10,70,363 have received the first dose and 4,65,303 have received both the doses.</span><br />
