<span style="color: #222222;">Just prior to the Assembly Elections in Meghalaya, cash, narcotics, liquors and other contrabands worth 52 crores Rupees have been seized so far by enforcement agencies.<br />''<br />''The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Meghalaya F R Kharkongor today said that after the model code of conduct came into force in the state, cash of six crores Rupees has been seized. He said,  out of this drugs and narcotics worth  22 crore Rupees have also been seized. The CEO said due to vigilant efforts and a greater focus on FST ( Flying Surveillance Teams) and SST ( Static Surveillance Teams), they have succeeded to foil the nefarious activities.</span><br />
