<span style="color: #222222;">People across Meghalaya are chipping in to ease the burden of daily wage earners and labourers.<br />'' <br />'' A local entrepreneur and a landlord in Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills district, Lila Nongkhar has exempted rent for one of her tenants, while four other tenants are paying only half the rent for the month of April.<br />'' <br />'' To ease the burden of her tenants she decided that one of her shops which sells essential commodities are to pay the rent as usual.<br />'' <br />''Lila Nongkhar who herself is self-employed said it is her responsibility to give her tenants exemptions during this period and help whenever she can. She said that if the lockdown continues she will continue to offer her help.</span>
