In Meghalaya, two-time United Democratic Party (UDP) MLA, H Brolding Nongsiej took oath as Minister of the Conrad K Sangma-led Meghalaya Government at the Raj Bhavan today in Shillong. Mr Nongsiej, who represents Mawthadraishan Assembly constituency in West Khasi Hills, was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Tathagatha Roy in the presence of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh and other ministers.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"> <br />''With this, the only vacancy in the Cabinet has been filled up. Nongsiej replaced Metbah Lyngdoh who quit as a Minister on 11th of September and got elected as Speaker of the Meghalaya Assembly subsequently. </span><br />
