Meghalaya today joined the Indian Armed Forces to express appreciation and gratitude to all the health workers across the country for their services in providing health care to Covid-19 patients. <br />'' <br />'' Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma accompanied by Health and Family Welfare Minister, AL Hek took part at the programme organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department held at Shillong Civil Hospital, as part of the Indian Armed Forces unique solidarity programme being observed across the country. <br />'' <br />'' The Chief Minister expressed deep appreciation to all the doctors and health workers of the state, particularly those who are taking care of Covid-19 patients. 'I thank all the doctors and health workers of the State for being so generous in rendering their service particularly during the present crisis, when the Meghalaya is fight against Covid-19,' he said. <br />''<br />''Flower petals were dropped from the helicopter of Indian Air Force over the Shillong Civil Hospital, while the programme was going on. The dropping of flower petals symbolizes appreciation, gratitude and encouragement to all the health personnel across the country for rendering the most valued service in the fight against Covid-19. Dropping flower petals also signifies encouragement to all the Covid-19 patients to fight against the disease.<br />
