<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Meghalaya is slowly inching towards a COVID-free state with ten of the 11 active cases declared recovered by Health authorities.</span></p> <br />'' Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma told reporters after a review meeting in Shillong today, that the third test of two positive patients has also come out negative which means that they are recovered and the number of recovered patients has gone up to ten. Eight of the 11 active positive cases tested negative and declared recovered yesterday and today two more were declared recovered reducing the number of active patient to one.<br />'' <br />'' Talking about the 11th patient, the Chief Minister said that the second test has come out negative and within 24 hours another testing will be done and if that also comes out negative, the patient would be declared recovered.<br />'' <br />'' It may be mentioned that two more tests on the positive patients were conducted after completion of their 14-day quarantine period.<br />'' <br />''The state had a total of 12 COVID positive cases out of which 11 were active and one dead.<br />
