<span style="color: #222222;">In Meghalaya, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong held its 13th Convocation Ceremony today at its new campus at Umsawli, Shillong. The convocation ceremony was held at the campus after a gap of two years following the COVID pandemic.  Founder and Chairman of Narayana Health Dr Devi Prasad Shetty graced as the Chief Guest on the occasion and delivered the convocation address.<br />''<br />''Dr Devi Prasad Shetty addressed the students virtually and said that to be successful in life, to make a difference, to make this world a better place to live in, one has to think differently. Citing that the world has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he urged the graduating students to remember the purpose by which one can make this world a better place to live in. A total of 252 students from the Post-Graduation Programme (PGP) and 16 from PGPEx were conferred with degree certificates and two scholars were conferred with their Ph.D. degrees.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, Director of IIM, Shillong Prof. D.P. Goyal said the convocation is also an opportunity for the institute to share what they have accomplished during the year. He stated that the IIM has made significant all-round progress and further added that eight MoUs were signed with renowned global institutions in the last year. The Director's Gold Medal for the best all-rounder was awarded to Abhishek Khurana from PGP and Nisarg Shrivats from PGPEX programme.</span><br />
