This statement came after following the death of a 67-year old woman due to COVID-19.  </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The woman from Mawbah locality of Shillong breathed her last at NEIGRIHMS last night becoming the fifth person to have died due to COVID-19. She was infected with COVID-19 and had no travel history while her daughter also tested positive.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Stating that the situation is heading toward community transmission, the Health Minister informed that authorities are on the job to assess the circumstances that led to the incident and will decide on the way forward in a review meeting today.
