<span style="color: #222222;">In Meghalaya, a decision will be taken on reopening of school for regular classes on October 13-14.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''This was announced by State Education Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui after a review meeting.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said that the State Government has decided to allow students of upper primary schools, class 6-8 to also go to schools from October 15 but for consultation with teachers only as is being done with the Secondary and Higher Secondary students.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said  Director of School Education has been asked to hold consultation with teachers, parents and COVID 19 committee on reopening of schools and submit the feedback soon so that the Government can take a call  on the reopening.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He reasoned that consultation is necessary as the COVID 19 situation is very dynamic and while some places are hot spots some are without COVID 19 cases.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It may be mentioned that the State Government had earlier allowed Secondary and Higher Secondary students to go to school for consultation purpose on volunatry basis.</span><br />''
