After a long wait the government of Meghalaya on Wednesday announced setting up of a new slaughtering house at Mawiong in shillong. <br/><br/>Announcing this Minister, State's Animal husbandry and Veterinary Minster Bindo Lanong said the new slaughter house will be ready within next 18 months. <br/><br/>It would be built at a cost of over 22 crore rupees. He said it would meet the long pending need of the people of the state particularly of Shillong.
