Meghalaya govt to meet religious groups to discuss re-opening of churches, places of worship across state

<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya government is scheduled to meet the various religious groups and denominations today to discuss the possibilities of re-opening of churches and places of worship across the State.<br />''<br />''Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma informed that the Government is calling this meeting to get the views from various religious groups and denominations. Pointing out that there are many religions and many denominations, the Chief Minister said that it will not be possible to invite everyone for this meeting. He said the government is trying to reach as many people as possible to get feedback and suggestions from them. The Chief Minister said the government will then move forward to prepare the most appropriate protocol without really affecting the sentiments groups.<br />''<br />''Earlier on Wednesday, Meghalaya Government had decided to open the shopping malls/complexes besides resumption of border trade activities with neighbouring Bangladesh.</span><br />
