<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya's Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma's National People's Party-led Meghalaya Democratic Alliance Government today released its one-year report card in Shillong. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The government completed one year in office. It is supported by the United Democratic Party, People's Democratic Front, Hill State People's Democratic Party, BJP, NCP, and independents.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Sangma listed achievements in various sectors and the roadmap for development ahead. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On coal mining, the Chief Minister said the Government has made an appeal before the Supreme Court to exempt the state from the purview of those laws which are in contradiction with the traditional laws. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He maintained that the government is not seeking exemption from environmental laws or mining safety laws.</span>
