The first-ever native female Chief Secretary was appointed by Meghalaya Government. Ms. Rebecca Vanessa Suchiang, a 1989 batch officer of Indian Administrative Service has taken over as the State Chief Secretary.<br />''<br />''The outgoing Chief Secretary M.S.
