Meghalaya Elections: Candidates from different parties continue to file nomination papers

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">As upcoming state legislative assembly elections in Meghalaya is drawing near, the candidates from different parties continue to file the nomination papers in the state. Cabinet Minister, Dasakhiatbha Lamare, former Home Minister, HDR Lyngdoh and former legislator, Mohendro Rapsang were among the candidates who filed their nominations for the ensuing Assembly polls in the State on Friday. Both Lamare and Rapsang who are contesting on an NPP ticket file their nomination from Nongkrem and West Shillong respectively. However, former Home Minister who is contesting from the UDP ticket filed his nomination from Sohiong constituency. Meanwhile, all big leaders of every political party are camping in favour of the party candidates.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Trinamool Congress Legislature Party Leader and Leader of Opposition Dr Mukul Sangma addressed a big rally at Raksamgre. On the other hand NPP vice president and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong alleged that TMC leader Mukul Sangma has plans to ditch the party and join the BJP along with his entire team post-elections.</span></p>
