<span style="color: #222222;">In Meghalaya, a new COVID-19 case was detected yesterday, while 24 recoveries were reported. Directorate of Health Services in a statement informed that the new case was reported from East Khasi Hills district. Meanwhile, the recoveries registered during the day were 15 from East Khasi Hills, six from West Jaintia Hills and three from Ri Bhoi district.The number of active cases have come down to 55 while the total number of recoveries stands at 13,743 with 148 deaths.<br />''<br />''Till date, the total number of healthcare workers vaccinated with the first dose has reached 14,765 while that with the second dose is at 1,181.
