<span style="color: #222222;">In Meghalaya, curfew has been relaxed for nine hours in the areas falling under Lumdiengjri and Sadar police stations of East Khasi Hills district. The District Magistrate said the relaxation has been given from 10:00 AM to 7:00 P.M. today, in view of the prevailing law and order situation. Curfew will again be imposed in these areas at 7:00 PM, until further orders.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, a delegation of Meghalaya Democratic Alliance led by its Chairman and Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The delegation urged the Home Minister to implement the Inner Line Permit, ILP, in the State. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The delegation also apprised him of the shortage of essential commodities in the State owing to the prevailing situation in neighbouring Assam. The Home Minister agreed to examine the matter at the earliest.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State Government has decided to convene a one-day special session of the Legislative Assembly to bring in a government resolution for implementation of the ILP. This was informed by the Chief Minister's Office in a press statement.</span><br />
