In Meghalaya, 121 new COVID 19 cases were reported today taking the total number of active cases to 1355. 107 COVID 19 patients recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 1823.<br />'' <br />'' Director of Health Services, Dr Aman War informed the media that out of the new 121 cases, 30 were from East Khasi Hills district, 59 from East Jaintia Hills district, 25 from West Garo Hills district, two from Ri Bhoi and four from South Garo Hills district.<br />'' <br />'' He further informed that out of the 107 recoveries today 88 were from East Khasi Hills district.<br />'' <br />'' Two COVID 19 patients also died today and both of them had pre-existing comorbidity conditions. With these deaths, the total number of COVID 19 fatalities have reached 19 in Meghalaya.<br />'' <br />'' So far Meghalaya has detected 3197 COVID 19 cases out of which 1355 are active, 1823 are recovered and 19 deceased. <br />''
