Mega project for Dharuhera town get Haryana Govt nod

The Haryana Government has accorded approval to set up two mega projects costing 86.02 crore rupees for Dharuhera town which include a Canal Based Water Supply Project involving an investment of 67.85 crore rupees and Sewerage System Project costing 18.17 crore rupees. Stating this at Chandigarh, Haryana Power Minister, Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav said that after the implementation of the scheme, water supply per person could be increased to more than 135 liters per day. He said that there is also a provision to construct three boosting stations in different colonies of Dharuhera town. A sum of 16.89 crore rupees has been sanctioned by the government for acquisition of land for the purpose and the work would soon be started. Capt. Yadav said that Sewerage Treatment Plant of 6 MLD capacity to be set up over an area of four acres of land for different colonies of Dharuhera town has been approved by the government and 1.5 crore rupees have been sanctioned by the government for land acquisition and the work would be started soon.
