Meeting to discuss security issue of Dharamshala match tomorrow in Delhi

A two member security team from Pakistan arrived Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh to review security arrangements there for India-Pakistan cricket match scheduled on 19th of this month. The two member team comprises the director of the Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan and a Pakistan Cricket Board official. Pakistani High Commission official in New Delhi will also join this team. <br/><br/>The team will review security arrangements for the Dharamsala match and will submit its report to Pakistan government after reviewing security arrangements for the Pakistan cricket team in Dharamsala. According to reports the visiting Pakistani officials will meet the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Director General Police Sanjay Kumar. However, official sources in Shimla told AIR that no such meeting has been fixed for tomorrow.<br/><br/>The Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen League is opposing the match saying Pakistan is encouraging cross border terrorism and the match should either be cancelled or should be moved to another venue. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh says sentiments of ex servicemen should be honored. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, a high-level meeting will take place by the Home Ministry in New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the security issue of India Pakistan cricket match. Sources said BCCI officials and visiting members of the Pakistani security team will participate in the meeting. The ICC World Twenty20 match is scheduled to be played at Dharamshala on 19th of this month.

A high-level meeting will take place in Home Ministry in New Delhi tomorrow to discuss the security issue of India Pakistan cricket match. Sources said BCCI officials and visiting members of the Pakistani security team will participate in the meeting. The ICC World Twenty20 match is scheduled to be played at Dharamshala on 19th of this month.
