The meeting of NITI Aayog to give concrete shape to 15-year vision document for accelerating all round development of the country is currently underway in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing the meeting. During the meeting, NITI Aayog will make a presentation to the Prime Minister on the progress made so far on the vision document.<br/><br/>Mr Modi, who is the Chairman of NITI Aayog, is also likely to take stock of the economy and progress over various government programmes which are monitored by the Aayog. The task force on poverty alleviation will submit its report, and so will the task force on 'future development of agriculture'. The meeting is being attended by NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Arvind Panagariya and other members.
