The crucial meeting of four Maoist-affected states began in Kolkata to help coordinate their campaign against Naxals.<br/><br/>The meeting chaired by Home Minister P Chidambaram is being attended by the Chief Ministers of West Bengal and Orissa Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and Mr. Navin Pathnaik.<br/><br/>Deputy Chief Ministers of Jharkhand Raghubar Das and Sudesh Mahato and high-level officials of the Bihar Government are also attending the meeting.<br/><br/>The meeting will review at length the strategy adopted to deal with Maoists in the affected states and coordination among them as the Naxals often flee from one state to another after committing a crime.<br/><br/>Developmental issues will also be discussed during the day-long meeting.<br/>AIR Kolkata Correspondent Arijit Chakraborty reports that top police brass of the four States, DGPs of CRPF and BSF are also attending the day-long deliberations.
