The governor has also sought advice from legal experts in this matter.

It has been 13 days since the results of the October 13 elections were declared but there has been no progress towards the formation of the new government, due to prolonging of talks over power sharing between Congress and NCP. Congress is insisting on keeping the crucial departments like home and finance, held by the NCP in the previous government, while NCP is reluctant to give in to the demand.
