Former Deputy Director General, Doordarshan, Meera Majumdar passed away in New Delhi on Tuesday after a brief illness. Ms Majumdar, during her long career served as Station Director, Kolkata Doordarshan and AIR, Bangalore. The funeral will take place in New Delhi today.
