President Dmitry Medvedev today vowed to crack down on terrorism saying Russia will always be an ally of countries fighting the problem. In a presentation ceremony for foreign ambassadors' credentials, Medvedev reiterated Russia will carry out an uncompromised fight against international terrorism. He said international terrorism, which defies the fundamental rights, freedoms and democratic foundations of society and denies the value of a human life remains a major threat to global security. Medvedev said Russia will always be a reliable ally of states that oppose terror by all legal means. Regarding the January 24 suicide bombing at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport, the Russian President thanked everyone who supported us in these difficult days and expressed their solidarity.
