Media report on tutoring witness doesn't absolve P Chidambaram of his role: BJP

BJP today said the alleged tutoring of a witness how to answer questions related to missing Ishrat Jahan case files does not absolve former Home Minister P Chidambaram of his role in the change of affidavit to dilute the fact that she was terrorist.<br/><br/>Party Secretary Sidharth Singh told media in New Delhi that the Congress unfortunately feels that the media report has given them another springboard to prove that Ishrat had no terror link. <br/><br/>Another party Secretary Shrikant Sharma also attacked the opposition party over the issue saying there were many evidence, including reports of IB and the FBI , to prove that she was a terrorist. <br/><br/>He said instead of making such claims, Congress should apologise to the country. Home Ministry has also rejected the the charge of tutoring. <br/>The media report alleged that a witness tutored by the Home Ministry officer, who was probing the missing file case, how to answer questions related to it.
